Fire Works
Your Homeowners Board of Directors would like to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July, and encourage residents to treat fireworks with respect so that everyone can enjoy a safe holiday.
Let's remember that the July 4th celebrates the declaration by which our nation became an independent country. Unfortunately, to many Americans, July 4th has become just another holiday where people enjoy shooting off fireworks.
Summers Landing residents planning on shooting off fireworks are reminded that, generally speaking, selling or using illegal fireworks is a Class 1 Misdemeanor and can result in a fine up to $2,500 and/or up to one year in jail.
Some residents have heard gunshots in the past. While we're not sure where those gun shots came from, we hope that it would never be from Summers Landing. Please exercise caution at all times and report and gunshots to the Sherriff at their non emergency number of (540) 582-7115.
